How we handle your data.

Last updated 15 September 2026

Plumeo (“we”, “us”) runs this website and the waitlist. This notice is written to Articles 12–14 of the GDPR: who we are, what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights.

Who is responsible

Plumeo is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We do not currently appoint a Data Protection Officer. For any privacy request, email us at the address in “How to contact us”.

What data we collect

We collect the following personal data:

  • Waitlist email address, which you type into the join form.
  • The time you joined, stored with that email so we can send your invite in order.
  • Usage data about how the site is used: pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and events such as joining the waitlist or trying the demo. This does not include the email you type into the form.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment details, or account passwords on this site. The interactive demo is scripted and does not upload your footage or store a chat with you.

How we collect your data

You give us your email when you submit the waitlist form. That field is required; if you do not provide it, we cannot add you to the list.

Usage data is collected automatically by PostHog when you load the site, unless you block those requests in your browser.

We do not buy email lists or receive waitlist signups from other companies.

How we use your data

We use your email for one purpose: to tell you when a Plumeo early-access spot is ready and to send that invite.

The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Joining the waitlist is the consent. You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete your address. Withdrawal does not affect emails we already sent.

We use usage data to understand which pages are visited, where traffic comes from, and whether the waitlist and demo are working. That processing uses our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in improving this website. We do not use it for advertising or to build a profile for marketing to you.

We also keep the site available and protect it from abuse. That processing uses our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in running a working website.

How we store your data

Waitlist emails are stored in a Postgres database hosted by Neon. The website is hosted by Netlify. Usage data is processed by PostHog. These providers act as processors under contracts that require them to protect the data.

Neon, Netlify, and PostHog may process data in the United States and in the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on the provider’s Standard Contractual Clauses and related transfer tools.

We keep your email until we have sent your invite and the early-access period for that invite has ended, or until you ask us to erase it, whichever comes first. After that we delete the waitlist row from the database.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your email or share it with advertisers. Recipients are:

  • Neon, which stores the waitlist database.
  • Netlify, which hosts the site and receives the form submission so we can save it.
  • PostHog, which processes usage data so we can see visits, sources, and on-site events.

People who operate Plumeo can read waitlist emails in order to send invites. We do not run automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Marketing

We send one operational email when your invite is ready. We do not send partner offers, newsletters, or ads, and we do not pass your address to other brands for their marketing.

If that ever changes, we will ask for a separate consent and update this notice first.

Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small files a site can store in your browser. This waitlist site does not set advertising cookies.

PostHog may store a first-party cookie or similar identifier so we can tell repeat visits from new ones. It is used only for the usage data described above, not to track you across other companies’ sites.

Your light or dark theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage so the page can reopen with the same theme. That value stays on your device; we do not receive it as a waitlist field.

The host may set a strictly necessary cookie to operate the site securely. You can block cookies in your browser; the waitlist form will still work.

Your data protection rights

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you can:

  • Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct an inaccurate email.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your waitlist entry.
  • Restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data while a request is underway.
  • Object — object to processing we base on legitimate interests.
  • Data portability — ask for your email in a machine-readable form.
  • Withdraw consent — leave the waitlist. Email us and we will delete the row.

We respond within one month. We do not charge a fee unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive. We do not refuse the waitlist to anyone because they declined optional data; the only required field is email.

Other websites

If this site links out, that other site has its own privacy notice. This policy covers only Plumeo’s waitlist website.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change how we process personal data, we update this page and the “Last updated” date. The current version is the one published here.

How to contact us

For this policy, the data we hold, or to exercise your rights, email hello@getplumeo.com.

How to contact a supervisory authority

You can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. A list of EEA authorities is published by the European Data Protection Board. In the United Kingdom you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
